What you'll learn in this digital marketing course:

User Acquisition Marketing is more than just bringing new people to your product. It’s being able to measure the impact of your efforts to more efficiently grow your base. This workshop serves as a basic introduction to the practice, aimed at giving students an overview of key terminology, concepts, and approaches.

Course Outline:
​Introduction to User Acquisition Marketing
  • Describing the potential impact of a user acquisition campaign on the growth of a user base.
  • Name each step in the conversion funnel. Describe what’s required to prompt customers to progress through the conversion funnel.
  • Identify the target audience based on a given business and its goals.
  • Describe the impact of ad relevance on customers’ progress through the conversion funnel.
  • Describe types of targeting available through a given channel.
  • Compare and contrast the capabilities and reach of specific ad channels.
Introduction to Email Marketing
  • Understand how to leverage leverage email to reach your users, clients, or customers
  • Compare and contrast the various email service providers that are most widely used
  • Identify email design and strategic best practices
  • Describe the basics of analyzing email campaign performance.
Create Your Own: Facebook User Acquisition Campaign
  • Define key advantages to creating a Facebook ad campaign and identify the specific qualities that make Facebook ads effective or ineffective.
  • Identify the target audience and determine the appropriate audience breakdown and size per ad campaign.
  • Describe the impact that ad relevance has on converting prospects to actual users/customers. Recognize strategic methods to create effective ad copy and media that engages users.

Prereqs & Preparation: None.


School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.
