What you'll learn in this negotiation training:
Understand the theory, processes, and practices of negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision making so you can be a more effective negotiator. The course methodology is highly participatory and utilizes discussions and simulations in one on-one and group situations. Class exercises emphasize organizational settings, but skills are applicable anywhere conflict occurs.
The course can be utilized for the continuing education credits for Project Management Institute (PMI.org) exam requirements for CAPM (Certified Assistant Project Manager) or PMP (Project Management Professional) designation. 9 hours of continuing education credits. 9 CEUs

In this course the teacher hands out a packet with knowledge on the subject. The packet is read through by the teacher in class. Students are free to give opinions, there are open discussions about anything and everything.
The course didn’t change my way of thinking in anyway. It imparted knowledge that is already available from books and articles. I feel like the class could use interactive sessions to have students think critically about negotiating scenarios and apply what knowledge is given. Maybe it’s too much expect from a 6 hour course? I was disappointed with the quality of the class. If you’re looking to complete an easy course with little effort, this works, but if want to better yourself, go somewhere else .
