This is a beginner level class. No previous puppetry experience is required, and if you DO have some experience and want to build a better base this is definitely the right class for you too.
EVERYONE who participates will be provided with “practice eyes” and a hand made, professional-style practice PUPPET that are theirs TO KEEP!
In this course we will be covering:
EVERYONE who participates will be provided with “practice eyes” and a hand made, professional-style practice PUPPET that are theirs TO KEEP!
In this course we will be covering:
- Working with the camera and monitor
- Stance, eye focus, mouth sync, walks, and rod manipulation
- Improvised scenes
- Working with human actors*** If you are considering taking this course you want to be sure to have some time for practicing at home throughout the week with a camera/monitor setup of your own. This can be as simple as a laptop and an external web cam.
- Character building
- Vocal Characterization

Refund Policy
All payments for classes are non-refundable unless a class is canceled by the school.
- If you need to cancel a class for any reason, you must notify us 4 business days before the class begins, and we will apply a credit to your account for a future class. This credit is good for 2 years.
- Classes are transferable with approval.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
