Formerly in casting at NBC, Frankie joined Tara Rubin Casting in 2022.
While at Tara Rubin Casting, Frankie has had the privilege of working on the Broadway productions of Water for Elephants, Back to the Future, Here Lies Love, Bad Cinderella, The Phantom of the Opera, and KPOP; as well as the world-premiere Off-Broadway and Regional productions of Buena Vista Social Club (Atlantic), Dead Outlaw (Audible), Death Becomes Her (Cadillac Palace Theatre),The Preacher's Wife (Alliance), Water for Elephants (Alliance), and The Brightest Thing in the World (Yale Rep), among others.
For this Master Class, please prepare two "short" contrasting songs (16 or 32 bars). Please also have your list of songs/book available as Frankie might want to hear more.
The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for Frankie using your prepared material in a group format. He will coach, give direction and offer honest, constructive feedback on your audition material if what you are currently using doesn't “work".
An accompanist will be provided.
Please follow the procedures listed below:
- Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.
- You will be emailed your assigned studio the morning of your event.
School Notes: Class end time will vary depending on the number of actors and the scenes that are assigned. Registrants are advised to budget extra time, as class time may run over.
