Description
What you'll learn in this nature tours class:
Walk the wintery grounds of BBG to learn how to identify trees, even long after their leaves have fallen. Hone your naturalist's eye for observing nature, using your senses to distinguish between different types of bark, buds, and twigs.
After a short classroom presentation, the class will venture outside to explore trees commonly found in the northeast in the Native Flora Garden, as well as focusing on other interesting specimen throughout BBG. Students will learn skills not only relevant to winter identification, but for the whole year as well.
Please note that this class meets in person at BBG. Instructions on how to enter the Garden will be emailed to participants in advance of class.
Refund Policy
Notify us at [email protected] at least 7 business days before the start date of the class or trip, and we will refund your fee less $15. If you must withdraw fewer than 7 business days before the class, we will refund your fee only if your space can be filled from a waiting list. No refunds, transfers, or credits are given after the start date.
If BBG must cancel a course, you will be notified as early as possible and will receive a full refund. BBG cancels classes with insufficient registration approximately one week before the start date, so register early!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
