What you'll learn in this diy class:

ABA Love Apothecary and Brooklyn Shoe Space invites you to create custom anointing oils using the finest wildcrafted organic essential oils, absolutes and CO2s. For you, a lover or for a friend.

The maker of the botanical scents for BKSS #3 and #5 will hold a monthly series.

Theme: Spring Ceremonials
In this class we will create an pure anointing essential oil blend tailored to your Spring time intentions. We will explore oils such as Orange Blossom, Opoponax, Bergamot, Hinoki, Japanese Mint, Amyris, Cedarwood, Rosemary and Black Spruce just to name a few. Be prepared to create some magic!

We will then introduce smelling techniques, discuss best practices, measuring etc. Then we blend.

June Theme:
In this class we will create an pure anointing essential oil blend to journey with you on your wildest summer adventures. We will explore oils such as Yuzu, Tobacco Absolute, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Juniper Berry CO2, Styrax, Palmarosa, Vetiver and Choya Nahk just to name a few. Be prepared to create a blend to elevate your most cherished summer moments!

At the end of the class you will go home with a vessel to take home your scent.

CLASS MAKE-UP POLICY

We are a small studio and reorganizing and rescheduling classes is very difficult to accommodate.  Please make sure to gear up, stay healthy, and prepare to come to class. Please respect the teacher's and other students' time and energy they bring to the classroom. 

For multiple-day classes, if you have to miss a day, you are responsible for getting the information that will catch you up on missed information during the class hours. Any additional time you will need to finish the project due to your absence shall be signed-up as a studio-hour session at a $150/day rate.

If you are entitled to a refund, or have any questions, please email us at [email protected], minimum 10 days before the class. Any last minute cancellations will not guarantee a full refund.

We take your safety seriously. With COVID-19, circumstances may change quickly, at the last minute. Please communicate with us, if you are traveling from afar. We expect that you will be healthy, and that if you feel sick slightly, you will let us know and we will postpone the course. We will have hand sanitizers, surface wipes, we will wash hands frequently, and each student will have their own tool box to use during the course. Any shared equipment will be cleaned in between use.
