Cake, Dessert, Pie and Illusion Treats

We are excited to offer our first ever summer cooking camp.  

For the last 8 years, we have loved teaching our cooking classes as part of after-school enrichment programs at several private schools in Manhattan and Hoboken.  While we love those classes, our main challenge has been the amount of time allocated to each class at either an hour or an hour and a half. This has limited what we can cook during our classes.

With the introduction of our cooking camp for summer 2019, we are beyond thrilled to introduce our students to a much wider array of recipes. We will finally have time to explore recipes that need time to proof, bake, set or decorate. We will introduce our students to recipes that will not only challenge their knowledge base but will encourage them to think outside the box and bring their creative on. For both weeks, each day will be a different theme.  

During week 1, the daily themes are: Yeast (both sweet and savory options), Cake, Dessert, Pie and Illusion Treats. While most of the themes are self explanatory, Illusion Treats is a day of making dessert plates that look like one thing but taste the total opposite of the look.

Location is TBD. While we have not finalized the location of the camp, it will be in Hoboken. 

For 4th grade and up. Your child must be entering 4th grade in September.
