Legally Blonde 'Junior' Pre-Professional Intensive Production w/ NYC Performances

Bend and Snap… and Jump for Joy – ATNY is now offering a Junior version of our Fall mainstage show!! If you’re not able to commit to a full length musical production for any reason, ATNY is now offering a pre-professional junior experience, with less rehearsal time and at a price that may be more affordable for you. Junior material, but with a stellar team.

Legally Blonde is a super-fun, attitude-heavy, dance-driven show for all ages.  With our pre-professional junior show, actors may simply register to participate.  No initial auditions required; however, we will use the first days to observe you dance, sing, and read.  You’ll know your roles fairly quickly and be ready to jump in. Just as in our professional show, every performer will be featured with solos and spotlights. There are NO “background” performers.

Although the Junior material is somewhat simplified, you’ll experience challenging dance combinations, robust vocal arrangements, and non-condescending acting direction, all in prep for two great performances, with all the bells & whistles, in a professional Equity theatre in the heart of Broadway.

Notes:

Rehearsals will be on Sundays only, starting mid-October.

Rehearsal Schedule: Sundays, 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM, Pearl Studios, NYC.

Tech Rehearsal: Monday 1/13/25, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM (at theatre)

Final Dress: Saturday 1/18/25, 11:00 AM

Actors will participate in 2-Performances in NYC (Slightly over an Hour)

Performance 1: Monday, 1/20/25, at 6:00 PM

Performance 2: Saturday, 1/25/25, at 11:00 AM
