Nature Girls is back for more exploration! Give your wild adventurer a chance to get muddy with like-minded girls at the Bronx Zoo Nature Girls series program. Participants will receive a nature backpack to explore the Riverwalk and keep it to explore beyond the program.

Come play at the Zoo! Join us on this "caregiver and me" adventure series, where you and your child discover the natural world through play, animal encounters, and guided Zoo visits. One caregiver is required to attend per child registered. Unregistered children (including siblings) may not attend.
Campers will spend much of this week outdoors. They will explore our nature play space. They will go birding at our marsh and look for other native wildlife that live around our zoo exhibits. Through play and explorations they will learn about the importance of wildlife around the world as well as right in our own urban homes.

From Jurassic Giants to modern day dinosaurs, Jr. Zoologists embark on a new scientific exploration every week to investigate the keys to species survival in the wild. From bones to scales, feathers to fur, participants dig out the truth - and discover the ultimate animal adaptations.
Using LEGO Mindstorm EV3 robotics kits, students will learn the fundamentals of programming a robot by integrating math and science concepts to understand the logic behind a programmed sequence of commands. Using a sophisticated array of sensors, motors and servos, student teams will build and program a remote control robot.
