Description
What you'll learn in this culinary class:
Begin your journey to becoming a sushi master! Learn the techniques, tips and tricks to creating beautiful restaurant quality sushi, serving sauces and condiments at home!
In two fun-filled hours, you will gain some insight into the world of sushi, by learning where to source the best sushi ingredients, basic Japanese knife skills and how to spread, layer, tuck and roll four different types of sushi. You will be making the famous 'California Roll' featuring crab meat, cucumber and avocado and the 'Temaki Roll'; commonly known as the 'Handroll' featuring tuna and spicy mayonnaise. You will also be making a traditional 'Yasai' sushi; which translates to vegetable sushi, featuring teriyaki shiitake mushrooms, pickled carrots and red peppers and served with fresh avocado and a ginger lime sauce. You will finish your class by being introduced to a Keto Style sushi, inspired by the latest dietary frenzy! Once you have completed your sushi masterpieces, you will join your new foodie friends in a communal feast!
You will work with other students in groups of 2. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.
Note:
We use ingredients that are easy to find at local markets and equipment available in every home kitchen!
Refund Policy
Cancellation or reschedule request has to be made at least 5 business days before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 16 business days for groups of 6 people or more.
For cancellation requests, please contact us at [email protected] in order to receive credits for booking a future class. Tickets are non-refundable.
However, you are always welcome to send someone in your place because we understand things could happen.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
