What you'll learn in this turkey class:
Turkey Day comes but once a year…no wait! You can get up to turkey- trotting speed with our annual pre-Thanksgiving run up to T-day class. Whether you’ll be celebrating at home instead of with family this year, or gathering with family and friends, join us for this class where you’ll master some Thanksgiving classics (and maybe discover some new favorites).
- Green apple and butternut squash soup
- Roasted turkey breast with garlic and lemon
- Sautéed Brussels sprouts with ginger and garlic
- Scalloped potatoes with nutmeg milk and cream
- Apple tart with pumpkin sorbet
Students below 18 years old should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Miette means, "little crumb" in French. This name was chosen while giving cooking classes at the restaurant Tartine in the West Village. Since Tartine means "slice of bread" we thought it an appropriate name for the school!

There are 2 entrances located between Umbertos Clam House. One is to the left if facing the restaurant and that is 1 flight up the stairs you will need to press 11 then the green bell key and wait to be buzzed in. The other is to the right of the restaurant that is a black street level elevator and just press the elevator button to gain access and go to the 2nd floor. There is also an intercom system there as well in case the elevator is locked. Closest Train stations are: B,D at Grand Street,N, R, J, Q, 6 at Canal Street. Parking is available on Elizabeth & Mott between Hester and Canal Street.
