What you'll learn in this culinary class:
Basic techniques covered:
- Sauteing, Stir Frying, Pan Roasting
- Asian Eggplant in Endive Leaves
- Sauteed Chicken Breasts and Thighs with Tarragon (sauce is composed of chicken stock, white wine, and a little butter)
- Stir-fried Pork in Garlic Sauce (Berkshire Pork)
- Red Pepper Rice Pilaf ( Israeli organic red peppers)
- Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
Please bring your own wine if you wish to drink wine. I will be serving organic freshly steeped ginger tea.
School Notes:
Children starting at 12 years old can join the class if accompanied by an adult.
Refund Policy
No refunds are offered.
Rescheduling is allowed with 2 weeks prior notice, however, there is a $10 transfer fee per seat rescheduled. In the event of a last-minute cancellation, feel free to send a friend in your place.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

This was a really good overall cooking class. The knife skills portion is very helpful, so if you can make it for that, do go. Karen is very good about making sure that you learn proper technique so that you don't hurt yourself and so that you maximize your cooking time. Karen recently got a new stove which apparently changed the structure of the class a little bit, so it felt a little scattered. Karen and her assistant, though, make the class more than worthwhile
