This course was delicious, informative, and entertaining! John is a great instructor - funny, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. The space was clean and well-lit, the ingredients were laid out well, and the instructions were easy to follow. We all left with at least one dish we'd be comfortable cooking at home. I plan to take the other Korean cooking class next!

I was excited to take this beginners class to learn to make these korean dishes. Jennifer, our instructor was easy going (always had a smile on her face) and was full of information. We were taught technique and she answered our questions while we made several different dishes. I enjoyed myself immensely! I have to say that when I left the class I was walking down the street, singing in my head "I'm in heaven..." LOL Can't wait for this weekend to make pork dumplings and for the next several weekends will attempt to make another dish taught in class like the kimchi fried rice with a fried egg on top and the beef bulgogi, before I forget what I learned in class. And next month the Kimchi Jigae which I found surprisingly delicious as I'm not a fan of spicy food. I highly recommend this class especially if taken with Jennifer!

John was an absolute delight to work with. He is a great chef and a hilarious person. It was a class with just me, so it could have been canceled but they allowed me to take it as a one on one course, which was kind and generous. John made me feel right at home from the start and taught me all that there was to know about the delicious Korean dishes we made.

This was an all-around excellent class! Our instructor was fun and informative and all of the food was delicious. I can absolutely see myself making any and all of the dishes which we prepared and I love the fact that I've added a few exciting new things to my cooking repertoire. You definitely will not leave this course hungry. Though we definitely participated in the preparation of each dish, I would have perhaps liked to have been even more involved in these steps, if only because I enjoyed making this food so much. Overall, though, this was a great experience and I would highly recommend it!
