What you'll learn in this indian cooking class:

Indian Pakora or fritters are delicious, mouth-watering snacks, and can be made in many different ways, using various vegetables (such as onions, eggplants, potatoes, cauliflower, spinach...even diverse types of lentils) -- fried with a spicy batter made out of chickpea flour. 

It is a little heavy on the oil side, but at the same time, quite nutritious because of the protein from the batter. You can also easily change the way you cook it: you can bake it, instead of deep-frying it. 

On top of the fritters, you are also going to learn two or three, delicious dinner items: Aloo Paratha, Chicken Makhni or butter chicken, and Saag Paneer, which are very popular dishes everywhere.

  • Saag paneer (Spinach in Indian cheese infused with aromatic spices)
  • Aloo Gobi and matar (Cauliflower, potato and peas curry)
  • Chicken Makhni (Butter chicken)
  • Aloo Paratha (Potato stuffed Indian flat bread)
Note: 

There's a minimum of three students for the class to run. If the minimum is not met, Mukti will personally reach out to reschedule via email or phone.

Refund Policy
We are sorry that we cannot issue refunds for classes, but you may send someone in your place or choose another class if you cannot make it for any reason. We do require at least 48 hours of notice for us to provide credit for another class, otherwise we are left with an empty spot and not enough time to refill it off the waiting list. 

If we don't get three or more students, we will reschedule the class for another day and we will communicate with you via phone and email. If the class gets canceled for any reason we will let you know in advance. 

For snowy days, please contact us and we will let you know if the class is still being held. Thank you for understanding and cooperation.

Fun. Learned a lot. Food was fantastic. Mukti was great instructor. We learned alot about spices. So glad class was small. We got hands on opportunities to each get to make different things. Delicious food. Mukti really knew her techniques.

Great class - Mukti was good at explaining the reasoning behind the ingredients/methods, and made cooking her dishes look really easy. We all ate the food we cooked together at the end of the class, and it was delicious.

I really enjoyed taking a cooking class with Muktai. It was a " hands on " class, and we were given full explanations for the way her food is prepared, and the health benefits from the using the spices in her food. Her instructions were very clear. We then shared the meal we cooked together, and had a lovely discussion post class. She sent us home with copies of the recipes we prepared that day, along with the opportunity to contact her with any questions. She is an excellent cook, her food is delicious. Muktai is very personable, and I would take another class with her, and would highly recommend taking class with her. Annette

Bought tickets for myself and a significant other to go and had a great time. Mukti is incredibly welcoming and made you feel at home. She was very clear and patient with all the participants and even made us have several good laughs. I loved this class and will be taking more now that I experienced what a great teacher Mukti is. I highly highly reccomend her courses!
