What you'll learn in this olive oil class:

Olive Oil 101 explores "When, What & How" as well as the flavor characteristics and chemistry of single varietal extra virgin olive oil. We also explore the scandalous world of the olive oil business and how to identify great extra virgins. Then learn how to taste like a pro with 5 different varietals.

All classes are lead by Owner/Operator Greg Bernarducci. Light snacks & our original Southside Peach Balsamic Cocktail and a special new cocktail developed especially for Park Slope follow the class.

You will receive 1 bottle of selected olive oil with class. Participants under 21 should be accompanied by an adult.

Greg was a warm and welcoming host, who does his job with great passion. Greg helped us understand the difference between good quality extra virgin olive oil and the more commonly sold but lower quality oils. The evening was interesting and fun; I will definitely try to go back soon.
