What you'll learn in this knife skills class:

You are more likely to cut yourself with a dull knife than a sharp one.


Our instructors have taught literally thousands of professional culinary students how to slice, dice, mince, chiffonade and julienne, on their way to becoming chefs, and now they can train you to cut like a chef in your own kitchen. Everything from how to hold the knife correctly, most of you don’t by the way; to proper honing and sharpening techniques.


You’ll work with our Mercer Culinary knives, but bring your own in, we’ll sharpen them up. [NO it-will-cut-a-can-then-a-tomato-late-night-infomercial-knives please…]


Wine will be served, be careful! Tastings and a full glass provided by wineUdesign for each class.

Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your reservation a full refund is available 48 hours or more prior class to start. 48-24 hours prior to class start and we apply your ticket sale to another class of your choice. No refund less than 24 hours prior to class start. Although we realize that situations arise, please understand that food and supplies must be ordered, and staff scheduled the day before the class starts, according to reservation amounts.

If The Cook’s Studio has to cancel or reschedule a class due to not reaching our minimum reservation requirements, we will let you know 2 days prior to class start. Guests will have their choice of a full refund, or apply their ticket to any other class, AND bring a friend for free! This is our 2-4-1 reschedule policy, some restrictions apply.
