You’ll leave with a newfound understanding of cheese—how it’s made, what creates each unique variety, and why your favorites taste so good.

Format: guided tasting with a Murray’s expert in our classroom
Includes: 6 cheeses, signature accompaniments
Beverages: red and white wine

Additional Information

In-person classes take place in the classrooms located at our Bleecker Street store. Our classrooms are located upstairs and downstairs at our venue and are therefore not wheelchair accessible.

During some of our classes, our content team and/or partners may be filming for social media purposes.

Refund Policy

Refunds less a 5% nonrefundable processing fee up to 2 business days before the event.
If you wish to transfer these tickets to an alternate party, please send us written communication to [email protected] 2 business days prior to the class.
Tickets cannot be transferred to an alternate class date.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Relaxed, informal atmosphere with friendly staff that feels like a class / cocktail party without the mingling. A little difficult to hear from the back section of the room a mic would solve for this. Wish we learned more of a method to identify cheese attributes like crystallization than the cheeses themselves.

Instructor was great and informational, learned a lot about different cheeses and learned a lot about cheeses I liked/don’t like. Great experience, even went downstairs afterward and took a couple of the cheeses we tried home. Drinks and snacks were great as well. Keep up the good work!

The teacher of the class, Chiara, was friendly and very informative. She encouraged us to ask questions and didnt cut her answers short. Also, there was unlimited white and red wine to go with the seven delicious cheese samples and great snacks too! I highly recommend this class and plan to attend the other classes they offer! A very enjoyable experience!

I thought the leader of the course was awesome. I think her name is Beth Ann. She was so friendly, open, and really gave off a wonderful vibe. The ONLY thing that marred the experience was the rudeness of the attendees. Almost every couple thought it was perfectly acceptable to chat throughout. Beth Ann said nothing and I understand but it was incredibly rude and distracting - at certain points she had to raise her voice to be heard. If there was any way for Murrays to ask that people refrain from chatting while it was going on that would be great but I'm sure they can't. Also, it's just common sense when someone has the floor and is there to tell you something, it's polite to pay attention. But this is "generation entitled" and they have zero manners. I definitely want to take another course and I will make sure to sit in the front again.

Great class, well worth the money, my only request would be to be told more about pairings. The teacher did say that there are classes dedicated to that and maybe if I have of asked I would have been told so won't hold it against the class/teacher. Everything else was spot on.
