What you'll learn in this pizza making class:

In this live, interactive online cooking class with Chef Regina, you'll learn how to make a versatile no-yeast pizza crust using either traditional or alternative ingredients. You will also learn how to brew a hearty tomato marinara sauce featuring sun-dried tomatoes and dates. Once you've mastered your no-yeast dough and sauce, you'll build a 12-inch pizza topped with all of your favorite ingredients.

Our cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Ingredients

  • White, wheat or alternative flour (spelt is best)
  • Baking powder
  • Sea salt
  • Milk or non-dairy milk
  • Olive oil
  • Tomatoes
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • Red bell pepper
  • Fresh basil
  • Dried oregano
  • Minced garlic
  • Dried dates
  • Pizza topping options: Spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives, and mozzarella or other cheese

Kitchen Equipment

  • 12" pizza pan, pizza stone or baking sheet
  • Two mixing bowls
  • One pot
  • Spatulas
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Blender or food processor
  • Sheet pan 
  • Tongs

Notes:

  • Recipes are sent in your booking confirmation.
  • Ingredients can be adapted for dietary restrictions or lack of availability.
  • Connect with the chef using Zoom on your computer, tablet or mobile device.
  • Every class is fully interactive.
  • Chef demonstrates each step and assists you as you perform each step.
  • Ask questions and have the chef check your progress.


Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Things come up at the last minute — we completely understand. You can cancel a booking up to 48 hours before the event without any fees. However, you will be billed for the full amount if you cancel less than 48 hours before a Golden Apron event.
