Pie Making

By far our most popular class, this class is all about pie! You'll learn how to make a flaky handmade crust, a tender crust with the aid of the food processor, and a pressed short crust.

Learn how to become a pie-master from noted pastry chefs, authors, and entreprenuers Matt and Allison Robicelli in the intimate setting of their Bay Ridge bakeshop. These classes aren't meant to make you a better cake decorator or cookie artist- they're meant to make you a better cook! You'll learn the science behind the dishes, chefs secrets you won't find on television, and technique that will forever change the way you cook at home.  

We'll be using these as a class to make the following:

• Pie
• Crostada
• MousseTarts

Classes will be a mix of chef demo and hands on work from selected students, with everyone getting to bring home a little something. Fee includes two-three hours of instruction and all materials.  All students will recieve 10% off all Robicelli's baked goods purchased after class.
