Description

The croissant is a beloved French classic. Warm out of the oven, this pastry is at its best when flaky on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside, melting in your mouth. In this hands-on class, you'll learn to prepare traditional croissants, as well as pains au chocolat and savory ham & cheese croissants.

What You'll Learn

  • How to prepare traditional croissants from scratch - from mixing to shaping to baking.

  • Techniques for making pains au chocolat (croissants with chocolate inside).

  • How to turn your croissants into savory ham & cheese croissants.

  • Tips & tricks for making flaky, buttery croissants at home.

Supplies and Materials

  • All ingredients and materials for making croissants will be provided.

Additional Notes

  • Each student will take home several croissants, pains au chocolat, and ham & cheese croissants, along with recipes and detailed instructions for recreating them at home.

  • This is a 3-hour hands-on class.

  • Students work in groups of 4 (maximum).

  • The class is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle).

  • All events are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not reached.

Refund Policy

  • For refund requests made no later than 6 business days before the start of classes/events.
  • No refunds/reschedule will be issued otherwise, unless the class/tasting has been canceled by Atelier Sucré, wherein 100% of the class and fee will be refunded.
  • In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
