I’m looking to open up a bagel shop. Have you ever dealt with any students like me? Would I be able to use the skills taught in this class to apply to a small “grassroots” bagel bakery?

Hi Carolyn! In this class, the school will teach students how to make bagels at home from scratch. We are not sure exactly what skill you would need for a "grassroots" bagel shop as I'm not sure what that entails.

Probably not because generally recipes have to be modified for bulk production.

Great course for both beginner and more advanced bakers. Small class size (less than 10) with an engaging teacher and awesome take home treats (bag of hot and fresh bagels + dough for another batch). Awesome time.

Awesome course! Had a lot of fun making the bagels. They tasted great and the instructor of the class, Reva, was very knowledgeable about bread and bagels. You get to learn a nice bit of history too. Made 6 bagels per person and they were really good!
