Description
What you'll learn in this weaving class:
Dreamweaving: Traversing and Mapping the Collective Unconscious
In this making and discussion based workshop, participants learn how to make an image based tapestry weaving, drawing upon their dreams for symbolism and inspiration. This is a safe and open space to explore tactile and psychic intuition. We will share our dreams, exploring their intersections, crossovers, and diversions to create symbols that will be woven and turned into a collective map. Each person will leave with a tapestry weaving and small satchel of mugwort.
One week prior to the workshop, there is an optional invitation to participate in an email chain for sharing glimpses of dreams to see how the collective unconscious manifests in our immediate surroundings.
Wear clothes you do not mind getting blue!
