Students who attended the Patchwork and Quilting Basics classes had a positive experience and were able to learn a lot from the course. The instructor was praised for explaining things clearly and giving students the time they needed. The class size was limited and small, providing a more personalized and private learning atmosphere. Students mentioned that they felt confident in their ability to make a quilt on their own, as every step of the process was taught. One student advised others to take notes and pictures of their progress to remember the steps. Overall, students found the class to be informative, enjoyable, and empowering. Direct quotes: 1. "I feel like I could make a quilt on my own - each step of the process is taught. Can't recommend it highly enough." 2. "Our instructor was wonderful! He explained things clearly, and let us take the time we needed (he stayed late after both sessions for us!). The class size is limited and small so it feels almost like a private course!" 3. "We went through all the pieces needed to make the quilt block. Very informative, just make sure to write things down and take pictures of your progress, in order to remember the steps."

Gotham Quilts was born out of the friendship of two fabric nerds in Manhattan.
We met years ago in one of Andrea’s quilting classes, when Ivete fell so hard for quilting she finished three quilts during a 6-week class!
We’ve been great friends ever since, and always talked about the store we thought...
