What you'll learn in this shoemaking class:

In this 2 evening course, you will learn how to fabricate and modify your very own d’orsay style shoe. A d’orsay style shoe is great for spring or summer to dress up or wear casually. This is a great class for anyone looking to explore shoemaking in a fun friendly short evening course or simply make a sweet addition to a summer wardrobe! 

You will learn how to cut patterns, choose leathers, and last your very own pair. Patterns are predesigned for the class and you will be able to customize with your own materials or leathers from our shop. We look forward to having you.

Q: Can I make up a class if I miss one?
A: 
No, but you will have time to catch up with the teacher. You can coordinate to come to the next session available. 1 week advance notice is necessary for any changes.

Q: Is there anything else I should be aware of to be prepared for class?
A: Yes, bring a notebook & pencil to keep notes. For hands on sessions, you may want an apron to keep your clothes clean.

Q; Do you cater to all shoe sizes?
A: 
Yes, every full size is available from a ladies 6 and up. No half sizes are available.

Q: Are materials included in the price of the class?
A: 
No, Once you have signed up, we will send you a list of resources for you to find your own leather. We also have a range of leathers at our space available for purchase. 

Upper leathers for shoes depends on the student's choice. Per square foot of leather that students use will be charged. Other materials are included in the fee. 

Students have an option to go shopping on their own, or with the class depending on the class length. Contact the school if students prefer this option.

Refund Policy

All classes and workshops are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Class Make-up Policy

For multiple-day classes, if you have to miss a day, you are responsible for getting the information that will catch you up on missed information during the class hours. Any additional time you will need to finish the project due to your absence shall be signed-up as a studio-hour session at a $150/day rate.

We take your safety seriously. With COVID-19, circumstances may change quickly, at the last minute. Please communicate with us, if you are traveling from afar. We expect that you will be healthy, and that if you feel sick slightly, you will let us know and we will postpone the course. We will have hand sanitizers, surface wipes, we will wash hands frequently, and each student will have their own tool box to use during the course. Any shared equipment will be cleaned in between use.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
