Shoemaking #003: All-Day Workshop

After taking the #001 introduction class, and you have created your patterns in the #002 Pattern Making Classes, come and make your shoes- Intensively, in an all-day working session #003.

You can cut your leathers, you can skive and prepare your leathers for stitching, you can stitch up your uppers and lining, you can last you can sole....

Three to Four of these dates should be enough to finish your shoes! You can choose to come three days in a row, after you finish your patterns, to finish your shoes in three days! Or you can come once a month, or once a week. Teachers may vary.

Important Things to Note:

• Formerly known as 3-hours long working hours on weeknights, we want to move the project forward, faster. So we have condensed the class into a weekend all-day.
• We will hold these twice to four times a month, so you can schedule around your own calendar.)

Q: Can I make up a class if I miss one?
A: No, but you will have time to catch up with the teacher. You can coordinate to come to the next session available. 1 week advance notice is necessary for any changes.

Q: Is a certificate of completion available to me after completing their class?
A: Yes

Q: Is a professional certificate available to me after completing their class?
A: No

Q: Can I take home what I make in this class?
A: Yes

Q: Are materials included in the price of the class?
A: No,Upper leathers for shoes depends on the student's choice. Per square foot of leather that students use will be charged. Other materials are included in the fee.

 Students have an option to go shopping on their own, or with the class depending on the class length. Contact the school if students prefer this option.

Q: Is there anything else I should be aware of to be prepared for class?
A: Yes,bringing notebooks and ideas applicable to the class would be great.
