Join us for a 2 day workshop learning to use thermoplastic to sculpt incredible blooms.
Whether you are a hat making fan and want to experience working with thermoplastic or you are an artist who enjoys creating three dimensional object and care to learn an amazing new technique, This workshop is for you. Sculpting techniques with thermoplastic is one of our favorite ways to create headpieces.
The technique which we developed, combines two materials: thermoplastic and silk. As an artist it allows us to create sculptured flowers, leaves and other organic shapes.
During the workshop we will research and study the structure of your chosen flowers, create patterns and bring them to life with the help of coloring techniques and the magic of hit. By manipulating these incredible materials, we will turn our two dimensional pieces into 3D wonders.
The skills used in these glorious headpieces translate into many other light weight creations, your imagination can do the rest!
All you need is a creative eye.
