Unlock the secrets of fabric marbling in this enchanting workshop where you'll learn the fundamentals of this mesmerizing technique. Discover how to select fabrics, prepare a marbling vat, and create stunning permanent prints. Develop your unique style and palette as you create a suite of beautiful patterns.
Learn the ancient Japanese art of Shibori or indigo tie-dye. First students will learn techniques for tying, folding, and dipping your fabric. Then students will learn how to prepare a vat of indigo. This workshop will be a virtual workshop.
I recommend setting it up in a place where you can get a little messy (due to the nature of indigo). If you can't go outdoors you can put paper or plastic down to protect the floor (that's what I do in my Brooklyn apt).
Supply List
All skill levels are welcome. Multiple pieces can be dyed in the vat and I would encourage you to invite friends to share supplies.
Note: Dyes are permanent if they get on your clothes, so please dress accordingly.
Cancellations are allowed up to 4 business days before the class. If you need to reschedule for another date, that can be arranged.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
