This class was sooo fun! I tried for an entire semester in high school to throw ONE pot and failed! In this 2-hour class I threw FOUR pots, each one easier and better than the last! Cory is a great teacher, helped us all understand the process and technique and he was very encouraging with giving everyone tips and reminders on the initial instruction. I got this as a Christmas gift to do with my sister and we both loved it so much we signed up for an 8 week class!

This was a weekend fun experience! The teacher is knowledgeable and welcoming, the space is excellent. The amount of time was perfect for a rainy weekend in Brooklyn.

The instructor was very personable and helpful (as was the front desk person) and i felt like i got a lot of practice on the wheel (which i had never touched before). All in all i was happy with the course.

We had an incredible time! The first 15 minutes of the class was dedicated to showing us the different types of cup and bowl shapes that we would try making. The instruction was very useful for a start, but the instructor also took the time to come around multiple times to help people with their pieces. As a bonus, if you weren’t super happy with your piece you could ask the instructor to fix it up a bit for you! We got unlimited amounts of clay to work with and they covered the first piece for firing and glazing. Additional pieces were $10 each. The class was perfect and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try out wheel throwing in a welcoming environment!
