This class was great. The instructor Jake was fun and always open to questions. We learned how to throw on the wheel, handbuild, trim, glaze. If you're a beginner like I was, you need to be very patient. Most of my objects came out as small bowls, even if I was aiming for larger dishes or mugs. I took the class on Saturdays from 12-2, which I highly recommend because there are open studio hours from 2 to 7 on weekends, so you can stay as long as you want after class to work on your projects. This was nice for me because I didn't feel pressure to come in on week nights after work. Choplet is very accomodating if you need to miss a class, and they send very organized and friendly emails about fees, fire schedules, etc. They also give you plenty of the clay at the beginning of the session- I had to scramble towards the end to use mine up.
