Begin your immersion into the world of watercolors. Learn the basics of watercolor painting including—paint, brush, paper, value, color mixing, wash, wet-in-wet, wet-over-dry. Our seasonal series of watercolor classes with artist Chemin Hsiao is back. Learn the basic techniques of painting with watercolors in a different garden setting each month, highlighting different summer blooms.
In August we will focus on orchids as part of the Taiwan: A World of Orchids exhibit. This workshop is all outdoors and all materials are provided. Recommended for adults and children ages 10+ (accompanied by participating adult).
