Class Description
Description
What you'll learn in this watercolor class:
- Watercolor technique warmup
- Drawing the figure in preparation for painting
- Laying in color masses
- Modeling with shadow
- Modeling with light
- We will work from a live figure model the entire session. This session is limited to 13 students.
- To get the most out of this session please arrive 15 minutes before start time with the recommended materials.
- Models pose for 20 minutes at a time with 5 minute breaks between each pose. There is an expectation of quiet while the model is posing and during "working breaks".
- Cell phones (including texting) must be done outside the classroom.
- This session takes place at the historic National Arts Club on Gramercy Park South.

A: No, there are no makeups allowed.

Q: Are materials provided and included in the cost of the class?
A: No. All materials besides brushes are included in the course.
Brushes required:
1/2" to 1" Flat brush and 1/2" to 1" Round brush.
Refund Policy
No refund unless the school cancels the class.
We do honor change-of-date requests for in-person sketch classes with at least 5 business days' notice and for workshops with 8 business days' notice.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
