Description
What you'll learn in this still life class:
A class designed for beginner and intermediate level students, a perfect course for individuals who have taken Introduction to Drawing and Painting. Still Life Drawing and Painting will build upon the fundamentals of drawing and painting to refine student skill while expanding creative expression. Students will learn to accurately draw and paint still-life’s using a variety of techniques and materials as we progress from under drawing to full color oil painting.
Through this online course, students will take part in lectures, demonstrations, and be guided in pre-designed and student designed projects using methods such as reductive drawing, working on toned paper, direct and indirect painting. Group discussion and individual support is also deeply embedded in the class structure. The class will be instructed by utilizing various technologies, including Zoom, live virtual demos and real time virtual assistance on student projects, chat and email, among others.
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refund Policy
100% refund will be issued up to seven days after the first class. After this, no refund will be issued.
MAKE-UP POLICY
Unfortunately, we do not offer makeup classes. The instructor can tell them what they missed. Most of our classes are taught atelier style. If there is a demonstration during the particular session, after the demonstration the instructor goes to each student to work with them on a one-to-one basis. During this time the instructor can work with the student who missed the previous week, talk with them and explain what to do.
