What you'll learn in this jewelry design class:

A world-class jeweler creates a unique teaching studio environment with personalized instruction. This class is suited for Beginner jewelry making and jewelry design.

Sampling of instruction:

Make a ring or pendant. Wax technique for casting into metal. Fabrication in gold or silver. Bezel setting. Learn to identify gemstones and diamonds. Average class size is just 4-6 so each student gets maximum attention. Each student’s program is customized taking into account their skill level, personal goals and projects of interest. Flexible start dates and class frequency means individual scheduling needs and budgets can be met.

PLEASE NOTE: David Benlolo personally teaches the Intermediate & Advanced classes but separately offers classes for Beginners. Once beginners learn basic techniques they can advance to David’s classes.

FAQ

Q: Is soldering taught in this class?
A: Yes, soldering is one of the main components taught in this class.

Q: Can I make up a class if I miss one?
A: Yes, programs are customized to each student based on individual goals, skill level and projects of interest, and you'll be able to build your own schedule if necessary.

Important Scheduling Notes:

Scheduling for private lessons is flexible and subject to the instructor's availability.
In the rare event the instructor is unavailable during the booked date and time, the instructor will reach out and reschedule you based on your availability. You also have an option for an immediate refund.
Price is for one person for a 6 weeks class.

Refund Policy

Tuition is non-refundable. Students may cancel and make-up one class for every eight classes for a reason such as illness. However, 4 business days notice is required for cancellation or class is forfeited. Make-up class is depending on availability.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

This is the best jewelry class i have taken. Collette is one of the best and most dedicated teachers i have ever met. This class brings you basic and the most important tools and tecniques in order to make your own Jewelry.

It’s been over 1.5 year of taking classes at the studio & it’s the best thing I did for myself. Although I worked in the diamond wholesale business & have a gemologist certification the process of “ jewelry making” was completely new to me. Not only do I have a renewed appreciation for jewelers , their creativity , passion & their honed skill as true artisan. The class size is small & the set -up allows for full range of work station from wax carving to setting, soldering & polishing . My teacher Collette is a patient , compassionate teacher and a very accomplished jeweler ! It’s a friendly environment where people from all walk of life gather to learn what we’ve been curious or passionate about … so it’s uplifting & interesting . There’s no shortage of creativity in this studio! My only regret is that I didn’t start this much earlier . Work, family responsibilities all took precedence but now I’m at a happy place when i get to come to class !

The ambiance is really welcoming to learn. Collette, the artist instructor it's very serious with her responsibility. She takes the time to teach you the techniques like you are the only participant. She kindly answers & repeats demonstrations when needed. The Studio has everything you need to make your creations. You would not regret this course. Although, I would have preferred handouts for each lesson.
