Discover the artistry of applying powdered glass to metal in this captivating course that allows you to enhance your jewelry creations with vibrant colors and patterns. Explore the technique of bezel setting to frame and secure your enameled pieces or stones for a polished finish. Immerse yourself in the world of enameling and create stunning, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.
Students will learn to enamel and bezel set in this 5 week course. Class will meet either via Zoom or in studio from 7:00-10:00 PM weekly. During the course, techniques include enameling on copper or silver and bezel setting . Enameling is a method of applying powdered glass to metal and then firing it to the melting point creating a solid layer of glass. This process allows one to enhance pieces with a variety of colors and patterns. Bezel setting is a rim of metal used to frame and secure an enameled piece or stone. Upon completion of the course students will gain a full understanding of the described processes and multiple finished pieces.
Please note: Silver is not included on the class price.
Excluding the first day of class, a minimum of 7 days are required to reschedule a planned absence.
Less than a 7 day notice, make up classes are available during studio time and studio fees apply.
No refunds for no shows.
For cancellations more than 10 business days before class date, students can be refunded payment amount minus 10% processing fee OR receive full payment amount toward another class.
For cancellations 10 to 5 business days before class date, students can receive payment amount as credit towards another class.
No refunds or credit available for cancellations less than 5 business days before class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
