Learn the art of hot casting glass using Zircar Mold Mix molds in this one-of-a-kind workshop. Discover how to create unique solid glass objects and make reusable molds for glass casting and blowing. No previous experience is required.
Core-forming is one of the oldest forms of glass vessel making, and the process has been adapted for lost-wax kiln-casting. This includes hollow-core mold making, wax sculpting, firing schedule development, cold-working, and color considerations. Students will have the opportunity to design a unique vessel and lid.
The class runs for 3 sessions, total of 19 hours.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
