Description
What you'll learn in this glass sculpture class:
In this course students will learn various skills needed to work with neon glass including basic tube bending techniques, layout and design preparation, and post production work such as wiring, mounting, and hanging a neon artwork.
Students can expect to finish up to three small neon projects (both designed and bent by the student with assistance from instructors) by the end of the class.
Unlike other neon workshops, our classes are housed within a fully functioning neon shop and neon product warehouse allowing us to offer all of the materials needed (various colored tubing, power supplies and wiring, and hanging materials) on site, and our instructors are specialized in digital layout design, electrical programming, and glass fabrication.
Important things to note:
Q: Can I make up a class if I miss one?
A: No, there are no formal make-up classes. However, with advanced notice, the school can potentially provide 3 hours of make-up time at the end of the class that can be used for unsupervised practice. The instructor must also approve your competency in terms of safety.
Q: What if I'm unable to come back to collect the finished pieces?
A: You can pay to have the items shipped to you.

- The price of class includes all glass, bending materials, 1 power supply, wiring, tube supports for hanging, and the option to purchase your bending kit at the end of the course.
- Neon units can take up to 2 weeks to be pumped, all neon units must be tagged with the following information: name, email, date and what gas is to be filled in it.

Note: This provider has a temporary cancellation policy for COVID-19 related cancellations which is as follows:
We are happy to reschedule/transfer tickets anytime before the day of the class.

Original cancellation policy (non-COVID-19):
No Refunds or Transfers will be granted within one week of class.
Enrollment cancellations are not entitled to a refund. Refunds will not be granted for any cancellations, transfers or changes made inside one week from the first day of class, or for withdrawals during class itself. Transfers(made outside of 14 days/2 weeks of class) are subjected to a 20% [of the original ticket price] fee. One Transfer Per Student, Per Class. Transfers may only be made into open classes, additional seats will not be added to full classes for transferred tickets.
