What you'll learn in this glass sculpture class:

Spend a weekend in the glassblowing studio with master glass sculptor Deborah Czeresko. Czeresko will share her personal approach, honed over her 30-year career, to sculpting this transformative liquid and manipulating glass into both abstract and figural forms.

This fun and fast-paced two-day weekend workshop is perfect for the aspiring glass sculptor.

This is an intermediate glassblowing class.

Pre-requisites:

Previous glassblowing experience is required.


Please Note:

Preparation for Classes

  • Students should bring notebooks to each class for sketching steps to techniques, recording inspiration, and planning class projects.
  • Students wishing to use specific tools or materials not supplied in class are responsible for obtaining these items themselves.
Proper Studio Attire

  • For your safety, protective eyewear must be worn at all times in all areas of the studio.
  • We will provide appropriate eyewear for your use.
  • Appropriate work clothes are also required. Flammable or synthetic fabrics, sandals and open-toe shoes are not allowed.
  • Long hair should be tied back.
