What you'll learn in this glass sculpture class:

In the spirit of Halloween, students will bring their designs to life with wearable art. The flameshop will become our laboratory of horrors, as we conjure our innermost Dr. Frankenstein; fabricating and concocting characters, masks and costumes. Group and individual demonstrations will be given and students will model their projects at the end of our week-long workshop. Class will focus on sculptural strategies and technical assemblage. Emphasis will be on critical thinking and problem solving with mixed media. Anyone who is interested in advancing their skills in borosilicate glass should join in for a unique and spooky experience with lots of twists and turns.
