Do you struggle with perspective in your drawing and painting? This one-day workshop is for artists who find technical perspective intimidating, confusing, constricting, difficult, or boring. It’s also good for beginning sketchers who don’t know where to start with perspective.
We’ll put in a solid day’s work, but keep it casual by relying on what we can actually see, rather than stressing out about theoretical concepts like vanishing points, grids, or geometry.
Any style can benefit from stronger presentation of perspective. Artists of all backgrounds can effectively convey perspective using the intuitive “what you see” techniques in this workshop.
This workshop is a good complement to “Observational Drawing for Beginners” and "Urban Sketching Daylong Intensive”.
Bring your sketchbook or some drawing paper, and anything you like to draw with. (Basic pencil and paper will also be available at the workshop.)
