Angela Graham

Teaches at Blooma Nashville

Angela Haglund Graham is an ICEA certified childbirth educator with special training in hypnosis for childbirth. She is also a doula and lactation educator who has been teaching birth classes for the Vanderbilt Nurse Midwives’ practice and the Nashville community since 2001. She wrote the curriculum for the Transitions class in response to her own experience with childbirth classes when she was pregnant with her own daughter. Angela upgrades her class as time and students’ needs dictate, yet keeps as the center of the class the woman’s innate ability to know what she wants and needs during labor. She focuses on helping women find and release their fears surrounding childbirth, familiarizing them with all parts of birth, and ultimately helping them to step through this important rite of passage with confidence.
