Recovery saved my life. Yoga added the sweetness and space to my life I was searching for.

I am drawn to the mind-body-breath connection & the intrinsic link between yoga and recovery. Walking (many times stumbling) down the road of 12 step recovery and practicing yoga for over 15 years, has allowed me to experience how yoga and recovery go hand in hand. After a major back surgery in 2013, I wasn’t sure if I could ever practice yoga again. 

My journey back to the mat was not easy, but with the help of some amazing teachers and healers, I found myself immersed in a yogic heart practice that inspired me to pursue a long time dream of becoming a teacher.
