What you'll learn in this tour class:

On the first Saturday of each month, certified American Sign Language interpreters will be available for this informal docent-guided exhibition tour at the Frist Center.

The Frist Center for the Visual Arts is a nonprofit art-exhibition center, with approximately 24,000 square feet of gallery space, dedicated to presenting the finest visual art from local, state and regional artists, as well as major U.S. and international exhibitions.

Our docent-guided walk-up tours focus on one of the current exhibitions and require gallery admission. All tours will originate at the Information Desk just inside the entrance to our galleries on the first floor.

ASL interpretation is generously supported by Bridges, a Nashville-area nonprofit resource for deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing communities.

Important Things to Note:
  • The Frist Center is an informal place. Casual attire is welcome, and we encourage people to dress comfortably.
  • The Frist Center is a non-smoking, non-vaping building.
