What you'll learn in this sewing & textile class:
Acclaimed quilt maker, author, fabric designer and proprietor of Material Obsession in Sydney, AUS, Kathy Doughty will be visiting Craft South to for a weekend of learning and exploring. Using templates allows us to cut accurately so that sewing accurately is easy! Kathy will guide you through working on a design wall as your composition evolves keeping an eye on color, value, print and character. Several ideas and patterns will be presented and having her personal quilts on hand will be amazing inspiration.
Class fee includes the following:

- 10 hours of instruction
- Use of our Janome Sewing Machines
- Use of our measuring, cutting, and sewing tools
- 15% off all in store purchases
- A goodie bag filled with some helpful notions & materials
- Coffee, water, snacks throughout the weekend

Because of the nature of workshops and venue reservations, we are unable to refund a workshop purchase unless we can fill the vacancy. You are also welcome to try and fill or gift the position if you cannot attend.
