Teaches at Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art

Scott Greene began his teaching career at Los Angeles’ Platt College, specializing in still and motion graphics classes. Later Scott taught similar courses at Mt. Sierra College, and branched out into teaching industry professionals about computer graphics in the IDEAS program at Valley College. He has also edited videos designed as aids for teachers of those aspiring to enter the film industry, and has edited advertising documentaries for LA HiTech. Scott began his artistic career by freelancing character sculpture for the Disney Store and Disney Consumer Products. Later he began working with computers, coding CD-ROM games, developing websites, and creating print and motion graphics peripherals, advertising and marketing for various companies. While attending USC’s School of Cinema-Television MFA program, Scott Greene won a Nissan FOCUS award for his work in Film Editing. Since 2002, Scott has taught a variety of graphics programs to students in all walks of life; he is known for taking people with little or no digital experience to their “ah-ha” moment, when the mysterious world inside the computer becomes a little less mysterious.
