Trevor holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from California State University, L.A. He has successfully navigated the Public Safety Hiring process with the Huntington Beach Fire Department/Marine Safety Division. In 2017, McDonald was awarded the Marine Safety Officer of the Year.

Trevor has been an instructor of Communication Studies at the college and university levels, and is committed to helping students and applicants secure jobs within the public sector.
