Kevin Ray breaks the mold when he interprets his passion for music into choreographed, or freestyle, dance moves. As a young boy growing up in Indiana, Kevin Ray spent his pass time studying Micheal Jackson videos from, Thriller to Smooth Criminal. These videos inspired him to perfect dance moves that would one day construct him as an admired successful artist. Kevin Ray re-located to San Diego, CA, where he was invited to dance with professional dance troupe Hop Star and the Body Poets. Soon after Kevin Ray was performing in front of over 40,000 people as a backup dancer for LA’s hot 92 Jamz Old School Concert, at the Irvine amphitheater. During this time he chose to give back to the dancing community and began teaching Hip-Hop classes to kids at Bear Valley Middle School in Escondido, CA. Kevin Ray has had the opportunity to perform in numerous shows in Hollywood at Carnival, in front of such audience members as legendary Janet Jackson. He's also taught hip hop classes all over the country ranging from Indiana, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Diego, CA.
