Hadley was born and raised in the great state of Georgia and spent most of her early years cooking and baking with her mom and her nanny, Lena. As she grew up, she inherited the all the pastry duties in her house and was soon earned the nickname “Cookie” from her school mates. After high school, Hadley went on to pursue her other loves architecture and art at the University of Virginia. The arts kept her creative side busy, but she still longed for time in the kitchen to make her delicious treats. After college, she moved to Los Angeles and worked in Public Relations world of art and architecture but once again was bitten by the baking bug. She decided to brush up on her skills with a couple of classes and soon found a home working with Clemence. Hadley lives in Santa Monica(so she can bike to work) with her husband Greg and pug Moxie who tolerant her constant baking messes in the kitchen
