eVe Buigues is a versatile musician/vocalist and composer. Born and raised in Paris, France, she studied composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Her latest release, Space-Dancer: Music and Chants for Yoga & Meditation, features traditional Chinese instruments tastefully mixed with spacious electronic soundscapes. Each track was created like a painting, layered with sonic elements, textured from moment to moment. eVe is currently recording a new album with renowned Iranian sitar player, Shaba Motallebi, due for release in 2019. She composes music for film and TV while producing her own albums and lives and works in Los Angeles. During sound bath meditation, eVe will play a Chinese sitar (Guzheng) alongside Patsy Moore and Mar Hobbs. They will also perform a few tracks from Space-Dancer.
PATSY MOORE is a creative multi-hyphenate and frequent maker of small things that customarily explore big ideas. A much-lauded former Warner Bros. recording artist and successful Nashville-based song publishing house staff writer, she has produced music independently since the late '90s. This summer, she releases her third indie album, What Surprises Us. (Her fourth, Hiraeth, originally slated for 2014, is expected early next year.) Patsy is a current artist-in-residence for the L.A.-based DCon Lab, where, throughout 2018 she is collaboratively building a multimedia presentation informed by a series of dreams. She is also a licensed Spiritual Counselor and acts as Director of Music for Inspire Spiritual Community, Los Angeles. Alongside Mar Hobbs—with whom Patsy owns and operates Papa Chuy Media (a small music and film production company) and composes for film, TV, theater, commercials, and games under the name "glasskid"—she facilitates guided meditation sound baths with a musical component.
With well over 20 years of professional and semi-professional performance under her belt, Mar—a core member of notable L.A. rap/rock outfit Strangefruit—has played with Macy Gray, Teena Marie, Billy Childs, Freddie Hubbard, Medusa, and Cree Summer. She has also shared stages with Dr. John, Jody Watley, and Angélique Kidjo, and provided strong musical support for the Patsy Moore band, eVe Buigues (of Jariya fame), and other artists in the Los Angeles area.
