Leigh Andersen

Teaches at Los Angeles Center of Photography

Originally from Nashville, Leigh Andersen has been working in the photo industry in Los Angeles since 1998. With over a decade of experience, Leigh has worked for celebrity syndication agency Icon International, and as an agent for both Montage and iCreate. While an agent at Montage she managed the careers of Nino Munoz, Art Streiber, Sheryl Nields, Rankin, Marc Baptiste, Warwick Saint, Brian Bowen Smith and Jim Wright, among others. Prior to becoming an agent in 2004, Leigh worked as a studio manager, photo editor, producer and archivist. Her approach to artist management is curatorial in nature with an emphasis on coaching her artists to see, build and bill themselves as a brand, and placing focus on both short-term success and long-term career goals. She is currently the Founder and Director of Photoculture, launching in May 2012, as well as the founder of Making the Shoot, a photography competition that awards a top prize of an original celebrity shoot for a leading editorial, most recently Selma Blair for The Lab Magazine. She currently represents Eliot Lee Hazel exclusively.
