Brian acquired his Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting from the University of Iowa in 2010 and has been actively involved in creating innovative and inspiring artwork since graduation. His preferred medium is oil paint, though he has garnered extensive experience with other media, including acrylic, watercolor and spray paint, intaglio, lithography, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design and illustration – a regular Renaissance man no matter how you slice it. His bold use of color and elegant forms create an appealing illusion that draws the viewer in and keeps their eyes moving, regardless of whether the painting rests on canvas or the side the abandoned Packard Plant in lovely Detroit, Michigan. Brian’s charming wit and infectious creativity ensure that each Paint Nite patron can not only create a stunning painting, but also the warm memories only acquired through artistic expression with friends.
